I'm Back!!!!!

Hey!

I know. I haven't posted since March. My life has been crazy. I started college, my muse for my original story has taken a vacation and in its place, I started a new fanfiction story. Yeah, big surprise there.

If you're interested in my new story, the link is: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8510329/1/If-You-Asked-Me-To
It is an Avengers and Twilight crossover story. I'm really enjoying it.

Well, I must be going as I need to walk all the way across campus to my last class.

I leave you with a quote for the day!

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.
Oscar Wilde

P.S.- I will post an excerpt from my in progress novel in the next few days.

Bye and God Bless!

Book Challenge

In early January, I challenged myself to read 20 books. Now? I've read 9. It's almost funny. I challenged myself to so few because I didn't know if I would make my goal. Now I have no doubt that I will. Here's my widget.

Quote Of the Day and Exciting News!

Imagination is the voice of daring. If there is anything Godlike about God it is that. He dared to imagine everything. Henry Miller

I've decided that I'm going to self-publish my story when it's done. Yep. Me. Self. Publish. It's a scary thought, my work being out there, available to buy and read.

But I'm gonna do it.

Quote Of the Day Pt. 2 and Writing Blurb

Hey! So I thought I'd post a little blurb of my writing here, along with another quote.
Here it goes. I've had writer's block on this story for months.

I typed in the first thing I could think of.
Where do Faeries come from?”
It pulled up all sorts of things.
Faeries can’t lie.
Faeries are supernatural creatures.
Faeries are as ancient as the wind and sea.
Well, that explains why I can’t lie. I’ve never told a lie in my life. Not even when I stole cookies from the cookie jar when I was 5.
Faeries are ancient old-world creatures that, if provoked, can be lethal.
That part freaked me out a little bit. Lethal?
Was my magic dangerous? I barely understood it, so it’s possible.
And here's the quote.

For a long time now I have tried simply to write the best I can. Sometimes I have good luck and write better than I can.
Ernest Hemingway

Quote of the Day

I learned never to empty the well of my writing, but always to stop when there was still something there in the deep part of the well, and let it refill at night from the springs that fed it.

Quote Of the Day

To be a writer means you can create prose, invoke feelings, carve emotions, channel passion, and create all the havoc you want by the stroke of a pen. ~Anonymous
