So.
Hai everybody. I'm sorry I've been neglecting this blog so much. Lots of major life changes have been happening.
I quit college because I decided it wasn't for me. My passion has always been singing, specifically performing. I am now in a band that is in its beginning stages. As in, we live across the country from each other and when the band becomes legit, I will have to move to be a part of it. We've come up with the name, some art concepts and things like that. We are also using stagenames, which is pretty damn awesome. It's pretty surreal, because I'm going to get the chance to do what I've always wanted. I'm going to get to share my voice with people and prove to all my bullies throughout school that I can do whatever I want and no one can stop me.
I am also moving out of my mom's house for the first time in about 1 1/2 weeks time. I'm half terrified and half excited. It's scary because I will be in a roommate situation for the first time. I'll be paying all my own rent, food, internet......it's very intense. I will be fully in charge of myself.
I have also had to terminate a long-standing friendship that became extremely toxic. It was really sad, because I met this girl when I was 8 and she was 12. She started out as my babysitter, then slowly morphed into my friend. Eventually though, she became so passive/aggressive that I could no longer handle it. So some things have to end, but maybe it was for the best.
My writing is also slowly progressing. I currently have two work-in-progress fanfiction stories, a series of oneshots that I will complete with one giant oneshot at the end, and of course, I am still trying to write my book. I am also writing a new original story and fanfiction story, but in my notebook. I used to do that, but found the computer much easier to use. It's kind of a challenge, but I like it.
I still don't drive, I drink too much soda, don't eat vegetables if I can help it, listen to my music too loud and am as wild and crazy as ever. I am moving forward in my life, in more ways than one.
I will try and be a little more active on here, but I make no promises.
I leave you with a quote from the best drummer ever, "CC" Christian Coma.
"You can't control a wild heart no matter how hard you try."
Love and hugs to you all.

I'm Back!!!!!
Hey!
I know. I haven't posted since March. My life has been crazy. I started college, my muse for my original story has taken a vacation and in its place, I started a new fanfiction story. Yeah, big surprise there.
If you're interested in my new story, the link is: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8510329/1/If-You-Asked-Me-To
It is an Avengers and Twilight crossover story. I'm really enjoying it.
Well, I must be going as I need to walk all the way across campus to my last class.
I leave you with a quote for the day!
Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.
Oscar Wilde

P.S.- I will post an excerpt from my in progress novel in the next few days.
Bye and God Bless!

Book Challenge
In early January, I challenged myself to read 20 books. Now? I've read 9. It's almost funny. I challenged myself to so few because I didn't know if I would make my goal. Now I have no doubt that I will. Here's my widget.
As for my book? It'll get there.

Quote Of the Day and Exciting News!
Imagination is the voice of daring. If there is anything Godlike about God it is that. He dared to imagine everything. Henry Miller

I've decided that I'm going to self-publish my story when it's done. Yep. Me. Self. Publish. It's a scary thought, my work being out there, available to buy and read.
But I'm gonna do it.

Quote Of the Day Pt. 2 and Writing Blurb
Hey! So I thought I'd post a little blurb of my writing here, along with another quote.
Here it goes. I've had writer's block on this story for months.
Here it goes. I've had writer's block on this story for months.
I typed in the first thing I could think of.
“Where do Faeries come from?”
It pulled up all sorts of things.
Faeries can’t lie.
Faeries are supernatural creatures.
Faeries are as ancient as the wind and sea.
Well, that explains why I can’t lie. I’ve never told a lie in my life. Not even when I stole cookies from the cookie jar when I was 5.
Faeries are ancient old-world creatures that, if provoked, can be lethal.
That part freaked me out a little bit. Lethal?
Was my magic dangerous? I barely understood it, so it’s possible.
And here's the quote. For a long time now I have tried simply to write the best I can. Sometimes I have good luck and write better than I can.

Quote of the Day
I learned never to empty the well of my writing, but always to stop when there was still something there in the deep part of the well, and let it refill at night from the springs that fed it.
